A dodge-the-flame, omgkillthestuneffectbeforeitkillsme, whirlwind fight. Be prepared with macros for instant target switching.

Lady Deathwhisper - 2nd Boss in ICC Lower Spire

Watching the tankspot vid after reading the strats would be the best option. Knowing what the spells are, and the basics of the phases before seeing them put into play helps you understand the mechanics of the fight much more.

This will be a hard fight to beat - we need to find the right balance of physical and spell dmg dps to pull this off.

Gunship Battle (3rd fight in ICC)

In 10-man this was a relatively simple fight after we understood the mechanics a bit more (i think we got it on the second go?). Be aware of what video you're watching - opponent names in horde runs are different to the opponents of the alliance runs.

And its fun - you get to play with rocket boots!

Deathbringer Saurfang - Final boss in the Lower Spire of ICC

First and foremost thing to remember for this fight: The longer it takes, the harder it gets

Melee dps - be prepared to have a rotation that has minimal/no AOE effects.
Ranged dps - Have some slow/root/stun abilities ready for adds.
Healers - *giggle* you poor things....

When we get to Saurfang, if people say they haven't watched a single vid (I will not accept just reading strats for this boss) or dont understand their role (if you don't know, ask!) I will tear them a new one -- in a nice way of course.

THE PLAGUEWORKS

There are 2 abomination bosses that need to be defeated before having access to the third and final boss in The Plagueworks. These are meant to be the "children/creations" of the last boss and want to make Daddy proud by squishing us all into moosh.

FESTERGUT - 1 of 2 abomination bosses in The Plagueworks of ICC

This fight is meant to be a basic dps burn - it has only basic mechanics, but is meant to have a short enrage timer (exact time is yet to be confirmed).

NOTE: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE read and understand the mechanics of the "inoculation" ability. This seems to be the mechanic that people will need to understand to change this boss from being a wipe to a clean kill.

ROTFACE - 2 of 2 abomination bosses in The Plagueworks of ICC

Positioning of this boss and the raid members will be very important. there is a slime/poison mechanic that is dropped by an add spawn who needs to be kited around the room. The AOE of this is rather large, hence the importance of raid positioning.

PROFESSOR PUTRICIDE - Final Boss in The Plagueworks of ICC

The Professor was never officially tested in the PTR's.

This link is a vid for the 10 man fight.

On a more amusing note, he's meant to quote a few lines from Professor Farnsworth in Futurama.....

THE CRIMSON HALL

There are some PTR guides and strats popping up for this section of ICC -- thought since they're out already, I'd start posting early. Wowhead and wowwiki say this is actually meant to open on the 19th of Jan (20th for us Aussies), but different sources say otherwise. Guess we'll find out soon enough.

The Crimson Hall is home to some vampiric blood elves in service to the Scourge (notice how you don't see any Draenei scourge wandering about -- suck that horde). Once finishing the lower spire and moving into The Upper Reaches, the raid group moves straight across the room, rather than going left like we would for The Plagueworks.

Now remember, just like when we went into The Plagueworks, all videos, strats and fight mechanics are based off PTR attempts -- all information is speculative at best. Even the enrage timer is an unknown.

BLOOD PRINCE COUNCIL - Bosses 1a, 1b and 1c of The Crimson Hall

In this fight you encounter the princes Keleseth (you met him in Utgarde Keep), Valanar (from Naxxanar in the Borean Tundra) and Taldaram (from Ahn'kahet) who we've killed and have been brought back as undead. Yay! It was so nice, we get to kill them twice!!!

This group requires 3 tanks (one is a ranged tank -- go go Warlocks!). Ranged will need to keep spread out and dps will need to be ready to switch targets quickly and everyone will need to be aware of what is happening around them. This fight is NOT a basic pew pew dance.

BLOOD QUEEN LANA'THEL - Boss 2 of The Crimson Hall

This lovely lady is the queen of the princes we would have squished previously to encounter this boss. A follower of Prince Kael'thas bent on defeating the Scourge, she and her weapon - Quel'Dalar - just wasn't cricket enough to defeat The Lich King, and is now responsible for coordination of the Scourge across Azeroth.

This is a 2 tank fight, and has a raid layout similar to Jaraxxus from ToC (according to Tankspot anyway -- this is still all PTR based mechanics). She has 62.54 million HP! Yay!
